I swear, there is no better
feeling than waking up to a thunderstorm. Window cracked, light breeze, warm
blankets, a rumble of thunder…this is my symphony. I was joking with a friend
yesterday that I would be perfectly fine living in the Pacific Northwest, but I
think it’s actually true. At least until I got bored (I have about a thirty
second attention span, notoriously bad at seeing things through. This blog:
case in point).
These musings flew out the window
as soon as I stepped onto a muddy embankment outside my front door and
splattered mud all up and down my jeans and coat, but I’m trying not to dwell
on that. Instead I’m dwelling on all of these images that greeted me on my Pinterest feed this morning and
continue to remind me why I think rain is the most magical of weather. Have a
lovely Wednesday!
I recently moved to Sacramento and it rarely ever rains here... let alone thunder storm! However, last week we had the most magnificent thunderstorm. While the entire city was freaking out (since they're just not use to it) I was sleeping like a baby. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous images, by the way. <3
Thanks, Latrina! Classic California. Where did you move from?
